We were in London recently and as part of our trip we wanted to experience a different side to it. Away from all the usual attractions, something unique and fun. We had heard about the London Improv Theatre through friends and they said it was definitely worth the visit and we can say that we totally agree with them. We wanted to find somewhere that was good for an evening of entertainment and the London Improv Theatre ticked these boxes and more.

First off it’s so easy to get to being around 10 minutes via the Tube from Oxford Street. We booked to see the famous Live Wired Comedy night and it was one of the funniest and memorable experiences we’ve had not only at a theatre but on a hotel break in general. What we loved about was the audience participation in the set. It made it more authentic and made the audience feel connected to the actors and actresses as well as it adding to the whole ambience.

Food & Drink at London Improv Theatre

The wide variety on the menu here is staggering. The theatre really caters to varied tastes. The food is delightful. From tapas dishes and sharers such as the Meat Platter or the Fully Loaded Nachos. My partner and I both those the burgers and they really are some of the best we’ve tasted. Not only that there are various beers, wines and spirits too which make the occasion even better.

What else is great about the attraction?

What’s fantastic about the theatre is they offer a host of courses, classes and workshops on the world of improvisation. There are classes available for all levels whether you’re looking to transfer skills, perform on stage or take up a new hobby.
