Improvised Singing Workshop

A workshop designed for those with experience of improvisation training & performance.

​

To benefit from this workshop, you do NOT need to be a singer or have any knowledge of musical theatre.

​

The aim of this workshop is to explore the fun of improvised songs.  Songs with both the tune and lyrics inspired by the scene narrative is an exciting and fun addition for any improviser. An insight into improvised songs informs all comedy improv whether long or short form.

The workshop aims to offer an insight into solos, duets, ensemble improvised singing and song styles.

​

In a series of exercises and insights gain the confidence to lead and follow songs, add movement and structure and to work collaboratively.

 

The workshop is run by Jake Lyons, with Maria Polukarov on the piano both from LiveWired Comedy Improvisation.
